Champions!

Christopher George

I thought I would share something on the personal side. I have been part of a fantasy baseball league for the last 21 years. We had our draft day on Saturday to kick off year 22. It is a lot of fun and the league is made from a great group of guys. Last year I was fortunate enough to win it all so along with bragging rights, I get to hold the hardware until next year!

The game is really looking great. We have added a few bells and whistles to make the game more entertaining and early response to the changes are very positive. We can't wait to get this into more hands soon! Also hoping to set a launch date soon! Stay tuned and get ready to step into the batter's box!

Mobile Apps & Games Showcase Night

Christopher George

Christopher George presents Big Bat Baseball at Millennial Media and Boston Game Forum's "Mobile Apps and Games Showcase Night"We had a lot of fun demoing the game tonight and seeing some other great demos. I think it is so cool to see the creativity at work with different people and teams in the Boston area. I learn something every time I attend any event. For instance, I never knew there was a category of games referred as rhythm games. Anyway, we got to kick things off tonight and everyone did a great job. Millennial Media were great hosts. Good food. Good people. Good games. :)

Boston FIG 2014

Christopher George
So we attended the Boston Festival of Indie Games yesterday and it was great. There was an awesome turnout and the feedback we got on Big Bat Baseball exceeded our expectations. Kids loved it. Adults loved it. The guys loved it and some of the most competitve people to sit down and play the game were the women. It was great to see how fast people grasped the strategic part of the game and run with it. I particularly enjoyed seeing some of the father/son battles! We had a lot of fun and it is full steam ahead to get BBB launched. Thanks to everyone on the BostonFIG team for putting on a great festival and thanks to all who stopped by, played the game, and gave us great feedback! Play Ball!!

Play Ball!!

Welcome to the Big Bat Baseball Blog!

It has been a long time coming and I hope you find it both informative and entertaining. The game has come a long way since the team sat at my dining room table over 2 years ago. It was a simple idea for a simple game at the time. It is still a simple game at its core, but we have added a lot so that it can be played competitively as well. We really think the game is fun to play casually or if you are really into baseball, you can try your best to coach your team to victory!

And did I mention how great it looks? The classic style is nice on the eyes!

The game should be ready for submittal to the App Store within the month. We will be releasing on Facebook and Android soon after.

Our hope is that you will enjoy playing Big Bat Baseball as much as we do. We have had a great time creating it. In the next post I'll share a little history with you and then get into more details about the game and the team!

Have a great day!
